Summer Vineyard Wedding in Upstate New York

Anna and Brian were married at the gorgeous Red Maple Vineyard in West Park New York. I wanted to incorporate a vineyard feeling into their invitation design without leaning into the obvious grape motif.

We chose a color palette that was meant to invoke the feeling of drinking a glass of red wine while overlooking a Tuscan vineyard - after a soft, late summer rain storm. And featured roses as a nod to the vineyard tradition of planting rose bushes along side the grape vines (roses and grapes are susceptible to the same diseases - so the roses act as a warning sign if the grapes might be in danger)!

We landed on a design with whimsical watercolor vines and roses bordering modern calligraphy details making for a simple but stunning invite.
